dress obsessed & a little starstruck

It's no secret that I love dresses. They're simple, cute & easy to throw on any given day. My favorites are ones with an unexpected twist at the back end* though I don't own any pieces of my own...I wish! Anyone remember Kate Hudson's dress in How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days? Ever since then the backless dress has beckoned my attention.
*I've been doing a lot of web work as of late.

Here's a few that I like:
ASOS drape cowl back dress with strap detail, $82.33

ThreadSence city chains assymetrical dress, $36

Urban Outfitters silence & noise deep scoop-back crepe dress, $69

In other news: yes, I did feel the earthquake at home earlier today. Nothing flew off shelves, though traffic in the DC area has been unreal. This was my first earthquake experience, and I didn't realize what happened until after browsing twitter shortly after, haha.

Also, if you didn't hear, I had the amazing opportunity to meet one of my favorite florists - Holly Chapple!
Her work is incredible and she is also an amazing mother of 7. Vicki and I went to her house to do a shoot of some of her bouquets, and yours truly was a model for the morning. I was honestly kind of starstruck cause I've loved her work for a while now and never thought I'd meet her. She definitely got a kick out of it and even posted about it on her blog!
