{wedding invitations} floral + elegant

DC's beautiful cherry blossom season has begun!  The trees are budding and I can't wait to see it in all of it's splendor.  A lot of lawns in the northern Virginia area have a patch of daffodils (don't ask me why), but the pops of yellow in the grass just make me happy.  Not to mention, Holly Chapple's been in New York all week with her Chapel Designers.  So with the flowers all around, I figured I'd post some floral wedding invitations that have some class.
(1) These are custom invitations by Parrott Design Studio.  I love the debossed magnolia outline on the belly band and all the blind debossing (when the paper itself is imprinted on without any color ink).

(2) Cherry blossom invites - of course I had to include some of these by Hello Tenfold.  Mmm...letterpress.

(3) I promise you these tangerine and coral tones will be around all year long, so these Wiley Valentine invitations are perfect!  I especially love the illustration of these blooms.

(4)  If you're looking for a more cost-friendly option*, Wedding Paper Divas may be the way to go.  These watercolor suites are my favorite.  Don't forget that there are alway other color options besides the ones shown online - see the designer/retailers website for their swatches.

*Here's a tip: if you have a favorite design you have to have but it's on the pricier side, I strongly suggest talking to the designer one-on-one to see what they can do to help.  You never know what ideas they may have or who they may know - even stationers want you to have the wedding you've always dreamed of, so talk to them!

Happy Wednesday!
