save when you spend: the daily grind

I thought today’s post should be a practical one - one that everyone can relate to: money. I know everyone is up for a good deal these days, so I’ll share a few of my secrets with you.
  • For the student: Still trying to sell back those books that are an edition too late? Sell them to Amazon. It doesn’t matter if you bought your book from them or not, as long as it’s in good condition they’ll give you an amazon gift card in return. Just search for your book, see how much they’ll offer you, print out the labels for free shipping (always a good thing), and send it off! I sold back 2 of my books and got $60!
    • Kroger: if you have a Kroger plus card and an andriod/iPhone, you can download the Kroger app and add coupons instantly to your card. when you check out and scan your plus card, the coupons will already be deducted! so you can save some paper & money :)
    • Music: Find some great tunes on NoiseTrade, download 25 songs for free and give what you can. I’m all about purchasing music, unless a website like this has a legit offer.
This is not an excuse to go on a shopping spree, but to save some money while you buy what you need :)
    Happy saving!
    Megan
