last summer i had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in france. i stayed with a french family in a small town about 1.5 hours from paris, and i fell in love with the french language, culture, and life. i know that many think the french are snobs, that they're rude and paris is overrated - but it's a stereotype just like any in the U.S. i came to find that the french are a wonderful people, and that paris in it of itself is a whole different "country" than the rest of france (although i still want to go back to paris). thanks to catherine for this video.
