If I had a list of people that most inspire me, she would be on there. And no - I'm not talking about Mother Teresa (gasp). Don't get me wrong, Mother T is incredibly inspiring, but I'm talking about Lara Casey. Most of you (and by you, I mean, my friends - the faithful few primary readers of this blog) probably have a deer-in-the-headlights look right now, so click the link. Go ahead. Lara is one of those creatives who is not only a woman, but a passionate go-getter with a huge list of credentials. What's more is that she is head over heels for Christ and isn't afraid to show it, especially in her blog posts. Though she wears many hats, her footprints never change. They leave imprints of Christ as she encourages others - Christian or not - through the corporate world via Making Things Happen.
And so this is where I got the inspiration for today's post. Though I don't expect or dream to do big things like Lara has (I have other dreams, which will not be mentioned at this time), I hope to do small things with great love no matter where I am or what my job is.
"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35

i love that quote by mother teresa because everyone's always looking to do something big when the most important thing is to just do something for another person..love keeps on giving, but we as followers of Christ have the duty to initiate it.
What a beautiful quote!
