In case you missed it, last week I talked a little about a common problem bridesmaid's face: their dresses. As a follow-up I thought I'd post some other images, ideas, and resources for bms to get your brain storming.
It's totally possible to have all the same style dress. The key is to choose a color (or pattern!) that fairs well on most skin tones. I love these striped dresses for a casual look, and check out those pockets! I would definitely wear that again to a fancy Saturday brunch with the girls. I also believe that navy looks good on everyone, and it's easy to dress it up or dress it down.

For softer looks, I love the flowing pleats of the Lavender Dress and Navy Enchantment by Sarah Seven
Go shabby chic or vintage classic with the beribboned taffeta dress or limoncello lace dress by bhldn
Another tip: make the accessories count! Shoes are so important the day of the wedding, especially if you're in the bridal party you'll be on your feet all day. I loved the cardigan idea from the previous post, but these girls got H&M dresses and bought their own boots - some heeled, some flat.

Having a fall/winter wedding? Think about long-sleeved dresses or throw in a shawl for extra warmth. I love the lace detail on these and the flower rosette hair pins.

Wow, I love the wedding dress from the "Southern weddings" picture! I know your focus was on the bridesmaids... but are there more links to it? It's so rare that I find one I like =)
I don't blame you (: it's actually an Amsale dress she found at preownedweddingdresses.com. see the photographer's post for more dress details: http://bit.ly/oNAKRg
Eileen told me to check out your blog, and I'm glad I did! I love the variety of bridesmaids dresses you have in this post - reminds me that there are so many ways to incorporate personal tastes.
Love those navy dresses in the first pics! Great round up here. There are so many directions to choose from for BM dresses. I never really know how brides do it and let's be honest, if we all got married five years earlier or later than our wedding date, our tastes typically change.
